It will lead participants through the setting of vision for their own parish and explore how to jumpstart and/or strengthen the work of adult faith formation within the parish.

This presentation will offer adult learning styles, essential fundamentals, methods and strategies that help quench a thirst for a deepening of a lived faith in our adult community.

Creating & Facilitating Small Faith Communities May 5, 2018 9:30am-1:30pm PRESENTER: Barbara Rookey WORKSHOP SUMMARY: Two realities confront society today: individualism and the divorce of faith from ordinary family and social life. Yet in the midst of these seemingly negative factors, a quiet revolution is taking place in the hearts of many: a longing for community. This workshop will establish the theological framework for Small Faith Communities, and will present practical skills to establish and facilitate effective small and large group gatherings.
