ILEM Pathways - Traditional, Extended and Bridge

ILEM-Traditional and ILEM-Extended are two FORMATION programs for lay leaders. Both programs have the same requirements, but one offers an extended time frame in which to complete them.

ILEM-Traditional is a 3 year program which offers the support of a cohort of peers with whom the candidate journeys towards Commissioning.

ILEM-Extended is a (maximum) 5-year program which offers the flexibility of choosing when and how the requirements of the program will be accomplished.

ILEM-Bridge is NOT FORMATION. It is a one year program by which already formed and educated Lay Leaders are afforded the opportunity to become Commissioned Lay Ecclesial Ministers in the Diocese of Trenton.
