All candidates in ILEM-Traditional and ILEM -Extended are required to take/have taken

  • Intensive Evangelization Training Certificate Program
    (Office of Parish Life)
  • Listening Skills Lab 1 Certificate Program
    (Office of Parish Life)
  • Certificate Program for Coordinators of Parish Catechetical Programs
    (Office of Catechesis)
  • Catechist Formation/Certification: Levels I to III
    (Office of Catechesis)
  • NCMB Bereavement Training (Office of Family Life/Respect Life)
  • Faith Community Nursing Certification (Office of FL/RL)
  • FOCCUS Training for Pastoral Ministers (Office of FL/RL)
  • Marriage Ministry Training (Office of FL/RL)
  • Youth and Young Adult Ministry Certificate Program
    (Office of Youth and Young Adults)
  • Spiritual Director Formation Program

2. Supervised Field Practicum - The ILEM candidate assumes pastoral responsibilities under the regular supervision of an experienced minister for approximately one year.
