Institute for Lay Ecclesial Ministry - Mission Statement

The Institute for Lay Ecclesial Ministry has been established at the request of our Bishop for the formation of Lay Pastoral Leaders for service to the Diocese of Trenton. The Institute will provide for the Spiritual, Human, Intellectual and Pastoral Formation of its candidates.

We at the Institute stand united with the Roman Catholic Church and with Our Lord Jesus Christ, its Founder, whose mission we uphold: to proclaim the Gospel, to build the Kingdom and to serve the People of God.

United in faith, sustained by hope and compelled by love we strive to form Lay Pastoral Leaders who will collaborate with our Ordained Ministers in serving the Body of Christ.
