The Gennesaret Retreat is co-sponsored by the Department of Pastoral Care of the Diocese of Trenton and is specially designed for persons who live with serious illness. The Spring 2017 Retreat will be held the weekend of May19-21 at the Newark Archdiocesan Retreat Center, located at 499 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ.
When coping with the many facets of serious illness it is often hard to take “time out” to seek spiritual strength. The Gennesaret Retreat, offers a respite, a quiet time, an oasis, to enable one to continue their journey. The retreat focuses on God’s love, his forgiveness, and his faithfulness. It’s a wonderful prayerful retreat with Sacrament of Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Eucharist for seriously or terminally ill persons.
