- Professional Development
- Health and Fitness
The Foundation for Student Achievement remains committed to providing tuition assistance for our families who are struggling to afford a Catholic education. In the three years the foundation has been in existence we have amassed over $600,000 and provided $120,000 in tuition assistance and we have funded $45,000 in unique and creative educational projects for the benefit of our elementary schools. As positive as this is, there remains a $2.5 million dollar shortfall in resources for tuition assistance, and many of our families are unable to afford a Catholic education for their children.
The Office of Catholic Schools and the diocese take seriously the challenge of filling this 2.5 million dollar gap. In support of the many diocesan efforts to fund tuition assistance, the Foundation for Student Achievement is taking on a new challenge in providing sustainable funding for tuition. The Catholic Alumni Partnership Program (CAP) assists Catholic elementary schools in connecting with alumni and re-establishing these relationships. The goal is that CAP will create a new source of funding for every Catholic elementary school through alumni support.
