Office of Social Concerns
The Office of Social Concerns promotes Catholic social teaching and social justice ministry on both parish and diocesan levels. The office initiates workshops and conferences that focus on spirituality, content and skills that are necessary for social justice ministry.
In addition to office-initiated workshops and conferences, the Office of Social Concerns also responds to individual parish requests for presentations on Catholic social teaching, its history, content and application in prayer and action. The Office works in cooperation with Catholic Charities Department of Parish Social Ministries to provide further orientation, training and resources.
