Catholic Hospitals
There are two hospitals in the Catholic tradition serving people in the Diocese of Trenton:
St. Francis Medical Center
St. Francis Medical Center, founded in 1874 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia as Trenton's first hospital, is a part of Catholic Health East, providing special attention to the poor and underserved. It's regional services include: The Heart Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Women's Healthcare Program, Regional Neuromuscular Program and Sleep Disorders Center.

Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County
Dedicated as a Catholic Hospital Dec. 18, 2002, Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro is part of the Lourdes Health System, sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany. The 341-bed hospital, which has been serving the community since 1961, provides technologically advanced diagnostic and treatment services in a caring, close-to-home environment for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Services at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County include many specialty areas that have become centers of excellence. The hospital is accredited with Commendation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
