Catholic literally means universal. As we are one Church, under God, we are all brothers and sisters in faith. We are partners in this world, carrying out God’s mission of love and salvation in His name. Our sister Diocese of Kasana-Luweero has enriched the Diocese of Trenton and its people so much. The country is very poor but its people are wealthy in faith and spirit. We see the face of God in the children of Africa. We see that, although they are a world away, they are just like us.

We share the same desires and struggles such as enough food to eat, adequate shelter, access to medical care and education for our children. We have much to learn from each other.
