Beginning March 7 – "Facing Temptation"
Temptation is with us every moment of our lives. It ranges in intensity from a very simple desire to the agonizing lure of something that can do us serious harm. Guests share how prayer and their relationship with God have helped them to resist temptations and live faithfully.
Beginning March 14 – "Struggling to Believe"
Adversities and tragedies in our lives can make us lose hope and sometimes even challenge our belief in God. How do we stay strong and trust that God will get us through the tough times? How do we keep from giving up or losing our faith?
Beginning March 7 – "Care for Maturing Adults and Persons with Disabilities"
Janis Bell, coordinator of the diocesan Office of Ministry for Maturing Adults and advocate for persons with disabilities, discusses new ways to reach out to maturing adults and encourage them to be more active in sharing their gifts with the church community. The importance of supporting and reaching out to persons with disabilities so they can share their gifts and participate fully in church life will also be discussed.
Beginning March 14 – "RE: Image Film Festival"
Matt Greeley, director for the diocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, and Father Bill Lago, chaplain, Catholic Campus Ministry of The College of New Jersey discuss the Re: Image Film Festival and its purpose to showcase works which deliver inspiring, uplifting and faith-filled messages through film and digital media. Sponsored by the Diocese of Trenton, the festival will be held on April 24 in the Paramount Theatre, Asbury Park. The Re: Image Film Festival is accepting entries from artists 13 years and older. Beginning March 7 - Host Angela Dodson talks to Eileen Straight and Phyllis Dillon, members of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, about its Catholic lay organization that leads women and men to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder.
Beginning March 14 - Host Angela Dodson continues her talks with Father Author Howard of the Diocese of Kalamazoo, Michigan, based on his story. Father Howard is a Trenton native and a former parishioner of Our Lady of Divine Shepherd Parish. This is a follow up to her two recent interviews with him. (Encore presentation)
