Diocese of Trenton Pilgrimage to World Youth Day Madrid
The Diocese of Trenton is very excited to announce our plans to be an active part of World Youth Day Madrid 2011. World Youth Day was started by Pope John Paul II with the hope of not only igniting the fire of faith in our younger Church, but of recognizing and celebrating the fire of faith that is already present!
Hundreds of thousands of young adult Catholics from around the world will gather in Madrid for time to share our faith, to grow in our faith, and to celebrate our faith. We will enter into this pilgrimage in Madrid, for the week of events, and will then head north to Lourdes to share some time together in yet another holy place. While we recognize the desires of both young and old to join in this amazing experience, our diocesan pilgrimage is open to all those 18 and older, with preference given to those 35 and below.
We hope you will enter into the pilgrimage with us, either with us in Europe, or long-distance from home. We will be blogging and sharing our experiences while on the other side of “the Pond”, as Europeans refer to the Atlantic.
Space is limited on this incredible itinerary
There is a limited amount of space available due to the size
restrictions of our busses and hotel space. Reservations are on a
