Catechist Certification - Validation Requirements
Annual Validation of Catechist Certification
In order to renew one?s commitment and professional growth as a Certified Catechist in the Diocese of Trenton, as well as to foster and enhance one?s witness value, the catechist must seek annual on-going formation of at least 12 hours of catechetical and spiritual formation.
- 8 hours of study in catechetical or related fields.
- 4 additional hours may be applied from personal spiritual development experiences (Retreats, Days of Prayer, Spirituality, Recollection, etc.)
