Humanae Vitae was written to make known the entirety of Church teaching regarding human sexuality and procreation. In so doing, Pope Paul VI discussed such topics as responsible parenthood, licit and illicit means of regulating births, sexual morality, the vocation of marriage, and the Church and society's duty to help families live according to these beliefs.
