The first session is for parents only; sessions two to five are for students. Parent participation is required for 7th and 8th grade, it is recommended for high school programs. The program gives the Catholic Church's perspective on relationships, sexuality, abstinence, sexually transmitted diseases, respect life issues, and decision-making.         The Office of Family Life/Respect Life sponsors parish-based True Love Waits programs for youth and young adults in the parishes of the Diocese. Through a variety of multi-media presentations, group discussion, and creative activities, this formational experience addresses the Catholic Church's perspective on relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, respect life issues, chastity and decision-making. Parents must attend this session if they wish their childrent to attend the True Love Waits program. The students attend four sessions; Thursday, April 17, Friday, April 18, Sunday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 22.       Mar 21 – Service to the Suffering
        Service to the Suffering is a unique opportunity for high school-aged teens to gather, give service in sites throughout our diocese, and celebrate the Holy Week Triduum in Service and prayer.

    Young people will come together in the morning for orientation and prayer and receive their service assignments for the day. We will bus participants to and from the sites of service as needed and end with the Good Friday Liturgy.

    Schedule and Details - March 21, 2008

    8:30 AM: Morning Sign-in and light breakfast - Holy Innocents Cafeteria, Neptune, or Mercer County CYO Camp in Yardville (next to St. Vincent de Paul)

    Sorry, Absolutely No Walk-in Registrations can be accepted - $5.00 per person

    9:00 AM: Morning Prayer & Brief Orientation
    9:30 AM: Participants leave by bus for Service sites as needed
    3:00 PM: Program closes with Good Friday Liturgy at Holy Innocents or St. Vincent de Paul, Yardville (next to CYO Camp)
    4:30 PM: end of program
