It will be a priority for the Diocese of Trenton to ensure quality leadership for parish communities into the future.
Something to think about
A good leader can make all the difference. Just imagine what a whole corps of inspired, skilled leaders who knew how to work together could do! What characteristics describe a quality pastoral leader? What do we need to do now, and in the future, to make certain that there are enough faith-filled, well-educated, energetic people with a zeal for pastoral ministry to lead parishes? How will we help young men consider if they are being called to the priesthood? How can we call forth the gifts of the members of each community in service of the Gospel? How will parishes be led when there are fewer priests than parishes? How will parishes afford to support the quality leaders they will need to serve the mission?
